Work in Progress: New collection

Work in progress

I have been busy behind the scenes creating a new collection due to launch in full at Goldsmiths Fair this Autumn.  I thought that I would give you a sneak peek of some work in progress and a taster of the collection to come.

Inspired by pattern and structure, I often work with unit contruction when designing. I love the simplicity of the single unit that can be built to become a richly complex structure as the piece is constructed. The rhythm of making, of linking and repetition translates to a tactility and movement in the piece when worn.  This collection starts with the simplicity of the circle and plays with line, pattern and structure.

These images show some of my process as I create a statement necklace for the new collection.  Sign up to my newsletter at the bottom of the page to be the first to hear about the collection launch.
